EV Island has formally requested that the federal Ministry of International Trade grant a time-bound ministerial exemption order under the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, recognizing EU type approved L6e quadricycle vehicles for import to Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
This would open the door to popular models like the French built Citroën Ami and the Spanish Silence S04, adding real momentum to our Pilot application currently under provincial review.
