Carsharing is a fantastic transportation concept. I drove my BYD, with a Neighbourhood EV in the box, to Nelson for a meeting with George from Kootenay Carshare. This cooperative was founded 25 years ago and is the oldest and most successful of its kind — today it has 550 members.
George's take: we can build the same thing for Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, but with an all-EV fleet.
