Big thanks to the Mid-Vancouver Island EV Association for inviting us to the annual Ladysmith Show & Shine. We drove my 2025 BYD Shark with a 2017 Neighbourhood EV in the box — its first public outing — and the interest was overwhelming.
Beyond the show, we're excited about a bigger vision: a community-owned EV car share, a fleet ranging from a little NEV to a full-size electric truck like the Shark, with members simply booking whichever vehicle suits their trip. It's electric, it's shared, and it's owned by the people who use it.
